We are currently evaluating
RFID technology as an extension to the case asset management
system (CAM).
Preliminary investigation has indicated that the typical
tag read success rate for this type of application should
be expected within 95% to 98% depending on the particuar
setup.
Tag read configurations such as door gateways, horizontal
platforms, drawer and shelf as well as handheld reader
technology are being explored.
